Klasický tanec začal študovať na Košickom konzervatóriu, neskoršie v roku 1982 sa pokračoval vzdelávať na Tanečnom oddelení Konzervatória v Prahe, ktoré absolvoval v roku 1984.
He began studying classical dance at the Košice Conservatory, later in 1982 he continued his education at the Dance Department of the Conservatory in Prague, which he graduated in 1984.
Since 1984 he has worked as a choir member, later a soloist (1990), a leading soloist (1993 – 1997 and from 1999) and since 2004 as a ballet master – repetiteur of the Slovak National Theatre Ballet in Bratislava. In 1997 and 1998 he worked as a soloist of Laterna magika in Prague and a guest soloist of the State Theatre Ballet in Košice.
An exceptionally prominent representative of the top interpretative school of classical dance, actorly versatile, with a wide range of ballet repertoire characters.
In 2004, he graduated from the Department of Dance Production at the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he has been teaching choreography since 2019.
During his dance career, he has received several awards not only for his performance but also for his choreographic work, such as the Philip Morris Flower Award for 1998 (Best Slovak Ballet Artist), the Literary Fund Lifetime Achievement Award, and others.
