Short description
A pedagogue and choreographer, he was educated at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He danced in the following companies: Torzo Balet in Bratislava, Bruno Genty Paris, S.O.A.P. Dance Theatre Frankfurt, Rui Horta Stage Works Munich, Russell Maliphant Company in London.
He is the winner of the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation prize at the “8th International Concours de Dance de Paris” in 1998, and the “Tanzförderpreis” of the city of Munich in 2002. 2nd Prize at the International Competition for Solo Choreographies in Stuttgart.
He teaches as a guest at ARTEZ Arnhem, Netherlands; Studio Harmonic Paris, Iwanson Munich and many others throughout Europe. Together with Olga Cobos, he directs the CobosMika Company based in Palamos, Spain, and since 2010 he has been the director of the professional formation Cobosmika SEED'S.
